Energy Minister Appoints New Board At ERB

Minister of Energy and Water Development Hon. Dora Siliya appointed a new board at the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) pursuant to Section 3 of the Energy Regulation Act, Chapter 436 of the Laws of Zambia, as amended by Act No. 23 of 2003 on 12th February, 2016.

The new Board members are Mr. Brian Mundubile, Professor Francis Yamba, Brigadier-General Bedford K. Chabuka, Bishop Geoff Mwape, Chief Chimbuka, Ms. Lynda Mataka and Mr. Abel Ng’andu.

The Board subsequently elected Mr. Brian Mundubile and Professor Francis Yamba as Chairperson and Vice Chairperson respectively following elections which were conducted during the 2nd Special Board meeting held on Tuesday, 23rd February 2016 at the Energy House in Lusaka.

The Board is composed of members with a wide blend of skills and expertise required to regulate the energy sector.

Management would like to congratulate the Board Members on their appointment and pledge unwavering support to the governing body in its quest to ensure efficient provision of reliable and quality energy services and products in the country.
